TRAINING UPDATE

Human Resource Development Program for the Year 2007 - 2008, under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government, provides for imparting Training to 65 employees comprising 100 Man Days. The training areas include the following Topics:

General Computer Refresher Course in MS Office (25 Man-days)

MX Roads (10 Man-days)

Arbitration & Conciliation (20 Man-days)

»

VAT, Sales Tax, Service Tax & Work Contract Tax (15 Man-days)

Project Insurance (10 Man-days)

 

During the Current year the company has already trained 128 employees comprising 280 Man-days. The In-house training was on Advance Excel (Thirty one Employees Participated on 2 & 3 Aug 2007) & MS Office, Email & Internet etc. (Forty Employees at all levels participated during 6 to 27 Aug 2007)

 

The Company apart from the MOU Topics identifies other emerging areas and nominates employees or conducts in-house training. The NON - MOU TOPICS covered are:

Two Days In-house Training on OHSAS 18001:1999 leading to Internal Audit certification attended by 19 participants on 26 & 27 July 2007.

»

Five Days In-house Training on STAAD PRO 2006 attended by 5 participants from 27 Sept to 1st Oct 07.

»

Two Days In-house Training on “SHAKTI OFFICE” (Hindi Computer Software) attended by 18 participants on 13 & 14 Sep 07 during Hindi Pakhwara.

Five Days In-house Training on MS Projects Software for Scheduling And Monitoring Of Projects attended by 13 employees from all Regional Offices & Corporate Office from 29th  Oct to 2nd Nov 07.

Two Days Training On Emerging New Approaches towards Role of Internal Auditors conducted on 6 to 7th Nov 07 by HRD Foundation New Delhi. Two Employees From EPI Were Nominated.
