Engineering Projects (India) Limited (EPI), a Mini Ratna Company under the Department of Heavy Industry, has signed MOU with the Government of India on 27.03.2008 for the year 2008-09.  The MOU was signed by Dr Satyanarayana Dash, Secretary, Department of Heavy Industry, on behalf of the Government and by Shri A.K.Ratwani, CMD, on behalf of EPI.  Those present on the occasion included Dr Surajit Mitra, Additional Secretary, DHI, Shri GD Moorjani, Director (Finance), EPI and other senior officials of the Government and EPI.

EPI is presently executing 79 projects in India and abroad valuing over Rs. 3500 crores. The projects being handled by EPI are of diverse nature comprising of Electrification Works, Process Plants, Irrigation Projects, Buildings & Housing Complexes, Highways, Project Management Services etc. EPI is consistently exceeding its targets and is most efficient public sector construction company having achieved highest turnover per employee among all construction PSUs  consistently during last few years. Its performance has been rated as “Excellent” on MOU parameters signed with Government.
