Engineering Projects (India) Ltd. observed the Vigilance Awareness Week - 2007 in their Corporate Office and Regional Offices (Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata & Delhi) from 12.11.2007 to 16.11.2007.
Shri Saleem Hamid, Chairman-Cum-Managing Director inaugurated the Vigilance Awareness Week – 2007 at 11 AM on 12.11.2007 by administering the vigilance pledge to all officials of company working in the Corporate Headquarter and Northern Region. The Regional Office Incharges and the site incharges administered the pledge to the officials working in their respective jurisdiction. The messages from the Hon’ble President, Vice President, Prime Minister and Central Vigilance Commission were displayed prominently on the Notice Boards. The CVO also read out the CVC’s message immediately after the administration of the pledge.
A workshop was organised at Mumbai Regional Office. The CVO inaugurated the workshop, which was attended by all the Vigilance officers of Corporate office and Regional offices. All the officers including in-charge of Western Regional Office participated in the workshop. The CVO emphasized on need to follow the due procedures in preparing for participating in the tenders and also in the execution of projects. He also stressed on the need for proper documentation of all the processes, ensuring transparency to avoid the possibility of corruption. In this regard, he also exhorted all officers to strictly follow the existing ISO Procedure Manual of the company and also the Government & CVC guidelines on transparency. |
